Last week a bunch of new icons appeared on my Typepad posting window, for colored font, spell check, a WYSIWYG posting template, and other new features, so I'm going to try and use some of the new features this week to expand my personal blogging horizons. For example, I can now upload images--such as Blue Moroni on the left--and actually wrap text around the image (something I was never able to pull off with the old blogging software). Have any Typepad users out there found any particularly handy features in the new package?

I am increasingly jealous of Typepad, as you know. It wouldn't take much more for me to switch...
although the colored text is just a fancy interface for a pretty easy CSS mod.

Yes, the day after I told you that Blogger now offers many of the features that originally made Typepad fairly attractive, Typepad installed a major upgrade. I'm forcing myself to use the new features for a couple of weeks--it's the only way to learn what can really be done with the software. The only drawback is that guest blogger options are only available at the Pro level, an extra $5 per month.

I love to get new blog capabilities. It will be fun to see what you do with yours. By the way, I like your "new" format. I think it works very nicely. It's not as busy as the old one (though the old one was good too).
