That was one reaction to Bible action figures being test-marketed at a few Wal-Mart stores in Pennsylvania. Seems that customer was afraid his children would equate Action Jesus with Spiderman or the Hulk. Maybe Action Samson is a safer bet. If Pennsylvania is too far to drive, just be patient: Target will be selling them online starting next month.

I wouldn't mind action figures of either Biblical or BoM stories if they were at least quasi-historically accurate. (Hey - what about D&C characters?)
BoM ones more inspired by the FARMS studies on limited geographic models than Freiberg's BoM paintings and done in a style reminiscent of the McFarlan toys would be great. (Yeah, I'm sure lots of misspelling there but I'm too lazy to look things up)
