End of the Road For the Mormon Will

If the name Melvin Dummar means anything to you, you'll be interested in this story. The LDS Church won't miss its slice of the Howard Hughes estate, but Mr. Dummar will.

I was confused when you said "The LDS Church won't miss its slice...." At first I thought you meant that the Church won't miss out---meaning, it is getting 1/16th of the estate. Teach me to read more carefully!

The Church actually owns some land that used to belong to Hughes. It's a hot spring oasis outside Las Vegas that the Church uses for youth conferences, stake parties, etc. It has several natural pools and some man-made; hot springs; trees and shrubs and grasses growing right out in the desert. Incredible!
