Dave,
Thanks for the mention of the blog and your interest in the topic. Having now posted on The LDS Church in India and Pakistan I am extremley intrigued at the foundations the Lord seems to be putting in place for future growth. I really thought the Church was non-existent in these two places. Also, FYI the "officially registered" source is from the book "From the East The History of the Latter-day Saints in Asia 1851-1996" by R. Lanier Britsch. I have as of late become very interested in the church's progress in Asia and even Christianity in general as it spreads to non-Christian areas. I've also posted on Christianity in Mongolia and China. Indeed exciting progress in South Asia!

P.S He is now 24....there are acutally quite a few in pakistan. The missionaries from pakistan usually serve in Singapore for thier mission or in pakistan itself. The mission president for pakistan is also over India. He visits pakistan about once a month

My daughter lived in New Delhi, India for some months in 2006. She made friends with the young women of the local branch (which wasn't very big and had many expats). They are still in early stages, but the ones there are, seem to be pioneer material and are not easily spooked by prejudice.
