Typepad unleashed a new online editor today -- so expect a few glitches the next couple of weeks. I did a test post and it zapped into the ether when I tried the "Preview" function, so beware. Some new formatting buttons if you use the WYSIWYG editor. Indent buttons instead of the old blockquote function. Lists are easier. They really
- Zap
- A bunch of
- Tags when you
- Use the list buttons.
Anyone else dealing with the new improved Typepad editor? At least they didn't add smilicons.

DMI is solid, thought provoking citizen journalism. Do you think fuschia bold italic text is really a suitable style?

come over to Wordpress. Everything will be much better. I think you can even export - import all your years of hard work (although you'll lose your search rankings.

Doesn't everyone use a dedicated blogging program? I use Mars Edit on the Mac, although it doesn't do WYSIWYG editing. But I prefer that since it let me tweak style sheet stuff.

Update after a few days with the new editor: The WYSIWYG "rich text" editor is so slow it is useless. The HTML editor is a little clunkier than the previous version but still gets the job done.
