Rather than search for bloggable nuggets of wisdom tonight, I made two sidebar changes. First, I'm moving my "Post of the Day" posts from the center column to the "Post of the Day" list at the top of the left sidebar (and yes, they will get radically shorter). It won't show up in the MA box anymore, so you'll have to come here to see it.
Second, I figured out how to set up a selective feed using my Google Reader and patch it into my right sidebar (just below Recent Comments). Any post I designate as "shared" from the 37 Bloggernacle blogs I subscribe to in my Reader shows up in the feed box. If you like it, you can cut and paste the script into your own sidebar and it should show up in your sidebar, too. There's also a separate page with the posts — I guess that's nice if you want to read posts without distracting sidebars or comments.
I'll put two or three posts per day in the feed, and one "post of the day" in the top-left list every day or two. I try to favor solo blogs, but group blogs have a lot more posts. I got motivated to try out the Google Reader feed when visiting The Tito Times, a new LDS blog, and seeing the "LDS Blogfeed" on his sidebar. And welcome to the Bloggernacle, Tito.
Thanks, Dave. Glad to be aboard. :)
