The Deseret News posted "Today on the Bloggernacle" at its online site, with links to five LDS weblogs. It looks like this may be a recurring feature at the DN website -- just another incentive for bloggers to put up quality material and be recognized with a link or two. It's not the cover of Rolling Stone, but it's something.
Anyone with more information on this feature is welcome to post it in the comments. New visitors who followed the link from the Deseret News to this weblog (or other weblogs) are welcome to say hello and share comments. By the way, I'm Dave and this is my weblog.
Very cool.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the blogs they chose to highlight. When I first heard of this I thought for sure they would point out the most controvertial posts which get a lot of attention. But they were actually pointing out some good, quality posts.

This idea was suggested to DesNews by the wife of an occasional commenter at JI. She thought that highlighting the 'nacle would be a great way to illuminate a growing part of grassroots Mormon culture. I was involved a bit, and I know that John Dehlin was also very supportive of the initiative.

I emailed the Mormon Times editor and suggested a Bloggernacle feature as well. I'm glad they listened to us :-).
