What an excellent thought -- thanks for highlighting it, Dave.

You have to keep the ideal in mind as something you would strive for. But you have to set your personal goals on an attainable level. Especially you have to work with that if your family situation is not ideal, which often is the case.

We shouldn't condemn ourselves for not matching the ideal.
