T&S linked to a nice TNR review of Bill Maher's movie Religulous. The film's approach to religion is described as "intellectually fraudulent and morally sloppy." Which is about what I would expect from comedian who branches out into documentaries with an "anything that gets a laugh" approach to content. Stick to the knitting, Bill.
Related posts: At Unfurling Banner, "How Militant Atheism is Undoing Leftist Progress," which features a four-minute video of Mr. Maher railing against Mormons. At Latter-day Commentary, "Mocking Mormons is not a new sport." Suddenly, the sort of public mockery that was once directed at Mormons is now being directed at all believers, or at least at conservative Christians.
Update: Oops, missed a few. "Religulous or Not?" at FMH. "Agnostupid?" at FPR.
