I recently imported to this site the six posts I did at By Common Consent back in 2005 on selected articles from the LDS booklet True to the Faith. The first post was A is for Agency, followed by body piercing, the cross, divorce, exaltation, and the family. I'm considering picking up with the series, starting (obviously) with the letter G. Any requests?
I also imported about ten other BCC posts, my latest step in bringing material I posted at other websites here to DMI as a permanent archive. I do not bring the comments from other sites over here and I include a link at the bottom of the post back to the original offsite post. I also set up a landing page for the www.mormoninquiry.com URL different from the DMI blog front page. It's handy to have a listing of all the significant posts by category on one page.
In re-reading each BCC post as I imported it, I couldn't help but notice that in 2005 I wrote longer (better?) posts. Hmmm. Maybe I had more time on my hands then. Maybe I have just used up all my good ideas. Maybe there's something special about BCC that brings out the best in a blogger. Maybe I have lost that snarky edginess one often encounters in new bloggers and have become a kinder, gentler blogger.
Say it ain't so, Dave!

I just saw the new landing page and I wondered, "Wow, where have I been? I've never seen this before!"
It's been great going back in time through the posts. I don't think getting shorter over time means getting worse. Brevity, soul of wit, etc.,

"Any requests?"
Growth, Hope, Innocence, Joy, Knowledge, Love, perhaps?

Thanks, Andrew. I didn't really expect to end up with that many links on the landing page, but the page still seems to load just fine.
Tatiana, Hope and Love are on the TTTF menu. I'll see what I can do.
